A Country Wedding Style for Two People in Love.
It was all hands on deck in the run-up to the
wedding of Brenda Santiago, 22, and Edgardo Martinez, 27, at her parent's house
in Guaynabo. 'Everyone said how happy Edgar and I looked all day. It was
because we were surrounded by all our family and friends who had made the
wedding come together - we couldn't have done it without everyone helping out,'
explains Brenda.
A year working with Kay and the team
at EnhancEvents, LLC gave me plenty of ideas for the laid-back, country-style
reception that followed the ceremony at her local church. 'I wanted it to look
like a village jubilee, so in the pavilion we had trestle tables and lots of garland,
vintage birdcages, and wild flowers and blossoms from the surrounding fields.
On our wedding day from wedding
flowers bought from wholesalers and arranged by EnhancEvents, LLC team, family
and friends, to Brenda designing the wedding stationary around her own painting
of her parent's house, the DIY approach added to the relaxed feel of the
celebrations. 'Not only did it save money hiring EnhancEvents, LLC, but it was
a real labor of love,' says Brenda.
'One of my favorite memories is
sneaking out with Edgar at 1:30 am and going to bed in the gypsy caravan
specially restored for our first night by our friends and family members,' says
Brenda. 'We fell asleep talking about the wedding, listening to the music and
everyone still having fun in the pavilion.'
Thank you Kay, Michelle, Nity and Ruth for such a wonderful
experience, we will never forget.
Brenda & Edgar.
